Breast cancer touches so many lives—and supporting those affected is about more than awareness. It’s about creating spaces where people feel seen, supported, celebrated, and connected.
This October, OYU Botanica is proud to join the Oakland community for Hair We Go!, a special afternoon dedicated to breast cancer awareness, survivors, young survivors, and the power of community.
Hair We Go! — Beauty With a Purpose
Taking place on October 4, 2026, Hair We Go! brings together beauty and wellness businesses, community members, survivors, advocates, and local organizations for an afternoon of connection and support.
The event benefits Bay Area Young Survivors (BAYS) and includes activities designed to celebrate survivors while providing resources, inspiration, and an opportunity for the community to show up together.

Hair We Go! is benefiting Bay Area Young Survivors (BAYS), bringing additional attention to the experiences and needs of young people affected by breast cancer.
Community support matters at every stage—from raising awareness to sharing stories and creating opportunities for connection.
